While it’s still a humid 80-plus degrees f in my corner of California, Autumn is all I can think about. Because Book Three of The Bowman’s Inn is Autumn, and it will be published on October 18th. How exciting is that?
It’s so exciting that my fellow authors need to be introduced. You know me and my alter ego Roxanna Haley. So now meet the only other author to stick with the anthology from the beginning, E. D. Vaughn.
E.D. has been writing and talking to imaginary friends since infancy. Once she discovered pencils and paper, a whole new world opened up. Unfortunately the stick figures weren’t considered great artistic talent and she switched to writing. Now, if not on the computer turning her fingers to nubs typing a new story, she’s out hiking, jogging, taking photographs, or lazing around with her teenager watching movies. And she’s never without her faithful hobbit (a.k.a. Humphrey the Corgi) who has followed her everywhere, even Alaska.
Kate Whitaker came on board for Summer, and has been a true gift to the anthology. Kate Whitaker writes for fun and profit from the woods of Pennsylvania. You can most likely find her sitting at her kitchen table yelling at kids and cats as she tries to figure out a new way to kill made up monsters.
Another Summer author is Milli Gilbert, who is also in to shifters and fun paranormal stories. Milli Gilbert is a stay-at-home mom who loves to play with words almost as much as she loves to play with her kids. All of her stories involve romance, and maybe a little bit of mystery. But she loves to write about cowboys, shifters, and dragons. And smut. And can usually be found trying to find interesting ways to combine them. She just took off after a cowboy-dragon shifter in search of his one true mate… Don’t worry. She’ll be back. Or you can find her (and all of her links) on her blog, Hairballs of Genius.
We have three new to the anthology authors who shared a wonderful dose of magic in more than just their writing contributions.
Once upon a time there was a girl who dreamed of a genie that took her on magical journeys, many of which may have included scenes from the Nancy Drew series (shh!!). Then one day she discovered Molly Ringwald and Andrew McCarthy and became obsessed with heart wrenching romances. When she’s not watching tear jerkers, she’s usually writing them.
E.M. Youman is a freelance writer from Oakland, CA. Some of her short stories have been published by Black Cat Press, S/tick Magazine and IFF. When she’s not writing fiction, E.M. Youman, works at an independent record label and runs a music blog. She has a B.A. and Master in Communication and is currently working on her first romance novel.

Ash Litton is a writer and lover of sci-fi, fantasy, and all things fictional. When she’s not writing, she’s drawing, and when she’s not doing either of those, she’s dreaming up new projects to work on. Ash is a graduate of WVU, and lives in rural West Virginia with her family. If interested in Aidan and Deidre’s expanded story (from the Autumn Anthology), you can follow Ash on:
Last but in no way least, Harper Saxby was born and raised in the Eastern United States. She lives happily alone with her cat. Although she longs to see new places, she will always return home to the comfortable and familiar. Harper Saxby is the epitome of her star sign: Gemini. The duality of her nature is in every aspect of her life including writing. A cynic and hopeless romantic at the same time, this is Harper’s first foray into Romance. She’s dabbled in many other genres, but this will be her first published piece. She is delighted, humbled, and honored for her first time to be with the wonderful contributors in this anthology.
Thanks for reading, I’ll be back on Sunday with some excerpts!
