I almost called this Little Lord Font LeRoy. Aren’t you glad I resisted? Fonts are a huge part of branding your novels, but there’s so much out there to look through and choose from. Romance Writers of America, Literacy, and Catherine Bybee

I’m a sucker for a drawing opportunity. My bird club has monthly drawings which explains why I have so many birds, and my local chapter of RWA has a drawing once a year. This year, I was able to purchase more tickets than ever before and I won three times. Considering how many people were there (the room was filled to capacity), you will understand why I am impressed. I’ve been lucky to win once or twice in the past. A Writer’s Prayer

The first week of July has passed. I have written some on my work in progress. I am under-motivated due to the heat and the sick dog and the general stuff I need to do but never see to get to. Argh. So I have begun some affirmations and meditations which some people call prayer. Whatever works, I hope you will find something of worth in this spirit-lifting recital.
