My extremely beneficial and entertaining chapter of Romance Writers of America knew I was struggling with getting my writing on track, so the program chairs brought in Joe Hardell to give us an Influencer Workshop — The Power to Change Anything. As you can see from the link, he works for Abbott Vascular and reminded us that when you make boxes or shoes, you might be able to have a 10% error rate. The first week of July has passed. I have written some on my work in progress. I am under-motivated due to the heat and the sick dog and the general stuff I need to do but never see to get to. Argh. So I have begun some affirmations and meditations which some people call prayer. Whatever works, I hope you will find something of worth in this spirit-lifting recital. Plotting via Motivation

Laurie Schnebly Campbell’s second Romance Novel beat out Nora Roberts for Best Special Edition of the Year. After writing six books, she had enough inquiries about her method that she began holding workshops and teaching groups of Romance Writers. Soon after that, she realized she loved teaching as much as writing and began a whole new phase of her career.

Health Potpourri

The Universe seems to hate people who have weight problems.
