Confession time. I can eat a lot of junk food and not feel full. Thereby I eat a lot of dinner or whatever meal is next, and I might feel full. Part of the reason for this is that I don’t pay much attention to the fact that I am putting things into my mouth, chewing, and swallowing. I am too busy reading, watching videos, or reading, or plotting my next book. Distracted Eating can steal all the goodness from food.

Healthy and Obese
As I approach my 65th birthday, I am realizing my excess fat is too much at home on my body to be shifted easily. For a writer, I am fairly active. I have set appointments to walk twice a week for a distance of about 1.4 miles. We often dawdle because we have our dogs with us and we are neither as young as we used to be. Flabby Body, Flabby Brain
The older I get, the more muscle tone I lose. At the same time, my memory is like a steel trap, rusted shut. And I absolutely have a limited amount of time to get my books and stories written.
